Our privacy policy explains how information is collected, used and disclosed by Novo Nordisk A/S with respect to your use of the Wake Up Routine App.

 

1 The information we collect

We collect information that can help us improve our app. All information is collected automatically and stored in an aggregated form and cannot be used to identify you as a specific individual. The information we collect is aggregated user statistics.

We do not collect or retain any personal data and we do not link aggregated visitor statistics with personally identifiable information. 

 

Aggregated visitor statistics

When you use our app, we automatically collect general information, such as information about your operating system, browser, device data and navigational data collection. This information is not treated as personal information and cannot be used to identify you as an individual. This information is only used in aggregate form to inform us where our users come from, what they look at and act on, and where the most time is spent. 

 

Information we collect automatically:

  • Anonymous visitor ID (code used to identify different user journeys for statistical purposes)
  • Country and region
  • Regional and language settings (to determine which country you are in)
  • Date and time of usage 
  • The title of the screens viewed
  • Time spent on the screens
  • Device type, manufacturer, operating system and version, mobile carrier

2 How information is used

  • To monitor and analyse usage and trends
  • To increase the functionality and user friendliness of our app 

3 Analytics and surveys

We are always trying to improve our services. From time to time, we may conduct surveys or test feature, and analyse the information we have, to develop, evaluate and improve these features. 

4 How do we share your data

We do not collect or share any personal data.

We may share anonymous aggregated user statistics and performance data with partners to allow us to improve the app and fix potential technical issues.

5 Storage of data

We are not storing any of your data – The data will only be stored in your app until you remove it from your device.

Anonymous aggregated user statistics and performance data will be stored on externally hosted servers in the Netherlands and Belgium.
